The audacious Laura Todd created her first cookies in Illinois, USA. Her inspiration? A family recipe for a small, round cookie that smelled deliciously of fresh butter, cane sugar, vanilla, and chocolate! Their reputation for excellence quickly spread beyond the confines of her small shop…

Voted best cookies in the USA

In 1933, Laura Todd won the prize for best cookies at the Chicago World's Fair. The judges, won over, exclaimed that these were probably the best cookies in the world. Her signature recipe? A cookie dough made with rolled oats and raisins.

The Laura Todd brand was born.

In 1985, true to her pioneering spirit, Laura Todd moved to Paris. It was the first time the French had tasted a cookie.

Very quickly, Laura Todd cookies, with their incomparable soft texture, became the talk of the town. In 1992, the Guide des Gourmands even named them "best cookies"! In 2011, the generous Laura Todd shared her unique recipes in a book that sold over 60,000 copies. In 2023, Laura Todd cookies were voted the best in the Île-de-France region by Le Parisien!
