Each week, we'll share a recipe from our selection of cookies, perfect for making at home. Today, discover how to bake the famous vegan dark chocolate cookie.

Makes 30 cookies - Preparation time: 10 minutes - Baking time: 17 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 350g of brown or blond cane sugar
  • 250 g of margarine
  • 60g of thick milk (almond milk)
  • 375 g of wheat flour
  • 350g of chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch of vanilla powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ sachet of phosphate-free yeast

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the oven to 140°C
  2. Mix the sugar and the margarine that replaces the butter. (use it very cold, straight from the refrigerator).
  3. Add the plant-based milk, which replaces the egg, and mix everything together.
  4. Mix together the flour, salt, yeast and dark chocolate chips.
  5. Incorporate in 2 or 3 stages into the previous mixture, until everything is homogeneous.
  6. Form balls using an ice cream scoop, preferably. Arrange the balls of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone.
  7. Slightly flatten the cookies and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
